Staff Spotlight: Dereck Hutchison

An Arkansas City native, Dereck Hutchison joined the Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor team as Senior Living Sales Specialist in November 2023. While he’s somewhat new to the role, he isn’t new to our community.

“My grandma was a resident here, my mom used to work here, and my ex-wife’s grandma lived here,” said Dereck.

It’s easy to see how people – and even pets – are a big reason Dereck was drawn to this position.

“I enjoy interacting with the residents and prospects, spending time getting to know them, their families and their dogs,” said Dereck.

In his free time, Dereck enjoys listening to music, watching movies, spending time with his kids, walking his two dogs, sports, and volunteering at church. He has five adopted children and he’s a foster parent.
