Presbyterian Manor Receives Emerald Award Level One

Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor was recognized with an Emerald Award Level One from PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America) for reaching goals in fiscal year 2019, July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019. In June, staff celebrated their hard work, commitment to the PMMA mission and passion for what they do. They received gifts and a special lunch.

Making sure our residents can communicate with their loved ones has been a big task the last couple of months. We have written letters, video chatted, played games through windows and waved to them from fifth floor windows. Sometimes it is a challenge to make it all work out, but it is always a lot of fun.

Congratulations to CNA Braylee Wynn for receiving an award from the American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing (AAPACN)! “It’s an integrity award, and I guess they (staff) value me a lot! I’m super excited that they think of me like that. I love my job. It’s the best place I’ve ever worked. I’m kind of shocked, excited and honored,” said Braylee.
