Staff spotlight: Brandi Barrett

March is National Social Work Month, making it the perfect time to celebrate Brandi Barrett, Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor’s director of life enrichment and social services.

Brandi started at the community as an activities assistant before going on to earn her CNA, activities director certification and social services designee certification as well as a bachelor’s in social work.

In her current role at the community, Brandi gets a special sense of satisfaction from simply knowing that she is having a positive impact on the lives of those around her.

“I enjoy being a resource to the residents and my coworkers,” said Brandi. “Being the one that brings happiness through activities and peace of mind with my social working skills gives me joy each day that I come to work.”
