Wine and wisdom

Wheat State Wine Co. hosted this year’s Wine and Wisdom event for our residents and their friends. Chris Tyler, owner and winemaker, along with Lena Helms, director of marketing events, brought some of their sweet wines for us to try while they told us about their company.

"The residents and I were so excited to have a wine tasting with Wheat State Wine Co. Everyone was able to find their favorite that day,” said Whitley Stokes, Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor marketing director.

Wheat State Wine was named "Kansas Wine of the Year" in 2012 and has won several medals at national wine competitions.

"We are very proud of what we have achieved in such a short time and look forward to even greater things ahead," said Chris.
