Memory care residents reminisce over chicken and noodles

Recently, residents of Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor’s memory care neighborhood came together to create a traditional family meal of chicken and noodles.

During the activity, residents and staff members swapped memories, noodle preparation techniques and plenty of smiles and laughs. Afterward, residents sat down with their families to enjoy their creations.

"Being able to bring families together is one of my favorite parts of working at Presbyterian Manor," says Sarah Griggs, executive director.

Activities like this one are just one of many designed by the community to engage the minds and provide a sense of purpose for its residents. Beyond the activities offered at the community, each resident also enjoys the hominess and security of a newly renovated 431 square-foot apartment complete with a kitchenette, walk-in shower and large living and bedroom space.
