Imogene Leach celebrates first anniversary

It’s been one year since Imogene Leach made her move to Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor—a move that she personally didn’t initiate.

“I have three sons and when I had a fall, they decided it would be helpful for me to live somewhere so that I could always get help when I needed it,” said Imogene. “Also, they said it was payback from me disciplining them as children.”

However, since making the move, Imogene has found her fellow residents, and members of the staff, to be both welcoming and helpful.

“Everyone is friendly here and if I need anything someone is willing and able to assist, they even help with my medications,” said Imogene.

While moving to the community may not have been her idea, she would do it again in a heartbeat and encourages others to do the same.

“I would recommend others to live here because it is a nice place where we have fun and get to play bingo, visit with others and enjoy the library—there are lots of perks to living here,” said Imogene.
