Life at Presbyterian Manor during COVID-19

Making sure our residents can communicate with their loved ones has been a big task the last couple of months. We have written letters, video chatted, played games through windows and waved to them from fifth floor windows. Sometimes it is a challenge to make it all work out, but it is always a lot of fun. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through these difficult times, and we will continue to look for new ways to make sure our residents are staying in contact with the people who matter to them the most.

Our wonderful life enrichment team has been really thinking outside the box to come up with new ideas to provide fun activities for our residents to do while remaining socially distant. Maintaining social distance while having fun can be a challenge though. We have done scavenger hunts, planted flowers, completed puzzles and played games, bingo, and much, much more.

We would like to say thank you to everyone who has donated masks to us. They are being used every day and play a big part in keeping our residents safe.
