In the spotlight: Neola Donaldson

For the past 11 years, Neola Donaldson has worked in our community as a restorative aide. The work is something she believes she was called to do.

“I love taking care of people and being a part of their growth. I’ve done this work for 48 years in senior living communities. I’m very blessed to be able to do this work. I think it’s what God wants me to do. It’s wonderful to do something for 48 years that you love!” said Neola.

It’s the family-like atmosphere at Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor that Neola likes best.

“We are family! We’re family with residents and employees. And that’s a wonderful experience. If anything happens, everybody’s all in. We’ve been blessed with a great community. It’s a wonderful place,” said Neola.

When she’s not spending time with her “family” at work. Neola enjoys spending time with her 13 grandchildren, planting flowers in her garden and going to church.
