    Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor announces Art is Ageless® winners

    We want to start out by saying thank you to all the artists who entered and to our three judges. This year our judges were Paisley Howerton/CEO of the Arkansas City Chamber of Commerce, Arty Hicks/employee with the CourierTraveler newspaper and Chris Todd, a quilter referral from Field to Fabric in Winfield, Kan.   • Ark City Presbyterian Manor’s Art is Ageless® call for entries underway

    Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor has issued a call for entries for the Art is Ageless® juried exhibit to be held April 8-12, 2019. Entries of artistic works will be accepted from any area artist who is 65 years of age or older to exhibit and/or compete for an opportunity to be featured in the 2020 Art is Ageless calendar.Artists may choose to enter the exhibit only.   • Wilda Buffo - Art is Ageless winner in quilting

    The material used in this quilt is called Stonehenge. She stopped at many quilt shops before finding this Stonehenge pattern in Missouri. The changing of colors called for close attention to detail and lots of patience, but finally it was done, and now she gets to enjoy every day as the quilt graces her bed at Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor.Wilda is a very active member of our community.   Read More...
