Spiritual Life

Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor gives residents many opportunities to develop their spiritual life, worship and practice their faith.

Our large chapel, located off the main lobby on the first floor of the apartment tower, hosts regular services every Thursday evening. A service in the health care family room is held every Sunday afternoon. These nondenominational services are open to all living levels and are led by a group of local minister volunteers who serve on a rotating basis.

Weekly Bible study groups meet on Tuesdays. Volunteer Dorothy Decker leads a group at 2 p.m. in the third floor activity room. Health Care Bible studies are conducted every Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Pastor volunteer Dennis Voth.

In addition to our own regular weekly worship services, area churches provide special services during the Christmas and Easter seasons.

A monthly devotion appears in the campus newsletter, Community Matters.
